So the folks at Mozilla are trying to set a Guinness World Record for "the most software downloaded in 24 hours" as shown here:

Personally I’m all for FF, it’s my preferred browser, but this smells more like marketing combined with a clever way to get tons of people to user FF3. For those non-commitment ‘I don’t want stuff installed on my computer’ types, you can always use the Portable Apps version, which I personally use and LOVE:
